Talking about settlement in Chenzhou two years ago, Wei Qingjun, general manager of Hunan Changge Intelligent Technology, was impressed by Chenzhou’s efficient, convenient and considerate service.
Changge Intelligent settled in the Innovation Park of Chenzhou High-tech Development Zone in April, 2020. Invested by Dongguan Zhengrong Electronics, the company mainly engages in R&D and production of Bluetooth headset, smart wearables and IoT terminals and provides a full set of smart wearables solutions with its advanced and efficient innovation system.
“We were attracted by Chenzhou’s business environment and great industrial ecology. Soon after our settlement, Hunan Pilot Free Trade Zone Chenzhou Area was approved, which offered multiple preferential policies and enabled our company to develop with Chenzhou Area.”
Wei Qingjun said Chenzhou has a geographical advantage because it is the “south gate” of Hunan. The company is only 400 km away from its headquarters in Hongmei Town, Dongguan City, which can effectively reduce the company’s logistics costs.
Changge Intelligent also introduced more than 10 upstream and downstream enterprises.
“In recent two years, we have witnessed rapid development of Chenzhou. A number of electronic and new energy enterprises have poured into the city and the industrial chain is gradually maturing,” said Wei Qingjun.
The current three plants of the Changge Intelligent cover an area of 25,000 square meters, but they are not able to meet the demand at the next phase. Therefore, the company plans to rent more plants to expand production.
And the front-end production and processing in Guangdong will be transferred to Chenzhou to complete the upstream and downstream industrial chain.
